Jon A. Cwalina
Attorney Cwalina was raised in the Pittsburgh area. He graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, obtained an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law. At the top of his class in Law School, Attorney Cwalina was honored by having his work published in the Duquesne University Law Review (see Pennsylvania Interspousal Inheritance Tax: An Inappropriate Response, Duquesne University Law Review, Volume 30, Number 2, Winter 1992), and by being given the opportunity to intern for The Honorable Donald J. Lee in the U.S. District Court of Western Pennsylvania, and later for the Honorable Carol Los Mansmann, U.S. District Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Both experiences proved invaluable in honing his legal skills.
Before beginning his legal career, Attorney Cwalina was a consultant to many of the large corporations in the Pittsburgh area, including National Steel, USX, USAir, Mellon Bank, Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Eckerd. Attorney Cwalina serves on the Boards of Deer Valley YMCA Camp and the Northside Urban Pathways Charter School.

Ronald Scott Jones
Attorney Jones is a graduate of Northwestern University, Duquesne University and the New York University School of Law. He holds degrees in Accounting and Law, and a Masters degree in taxation. Attorney Jones is an Adjunct Professor of Penn State University.

Lorraine Smith
Attorney Smith is a 1994 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law and is admitted to the practice of law in Florida and Pennsylvania. She has extensive experience in the areas of appellate practice, civil litigation, domestic relations and juvenile dependency. She was lead counsel in a number of Florida appellate cases and is the author of a number of published articles in such wide-ranging areas as professional athletes’ entitlement to workers’ compensation, Florida immigration impacts, Pennsylvania health care practitioners’ political involvement, and local government mergers. Lorraine is currently pursuing a masters’ degree in taxation in order to further her knowledge and experience in estate planning and taxation. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and the Allegheny County Bar Associations, and is admitted to the U.S. Tax Court, as well as to the federal Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
